Synchronisation

Kolab offers synchronisation of calendars, contacts, notes and tasks. The relevant protocols are CALDAV, CARDDAV and Microsoft ActiveSync.

Calendar synchronization

• For iOS, use CALDAV (see below). See [1] for instructions on how to configure your device.
• On Android, you can use either CALDAV (see below) or ActiveSync. More detailed information can be found at [2].
• On Outlook, use ActiveSync. See [3] for detailed information.

CALDAV

Whenever you want to synchronize a calendar with CALDAV, you need to retrieve the CALDAV URL from Roundcube (cloud.domainname.com/roundcubemail). Go to the Calendar tab, and select the calendar you want to synchronize. Then press the options button (three vertical dots) and click "Show calendar URL". It will show two links, one for read-only access and one for synchronization.

When you have the link, go to your device and add a new online calendar. Then enter the link.
